How to Add Clorox 2 In a Washing Machine

On an HE washing machine, where do I add the Clorox liquid color safe bleach? In the bleach dispenser? In the detergent dispenser? Directly in the tub? I’ve googled and have not found an answer, because nobody seems to know.

This is an excellent question. The “bleach” dispenser on your washer is just for sodium hypochlorite-based bleaches. Clorox® Regular Bleach2 and Clorox® Splash-Less® Bleach1 (to name a couple) can all be added to the bleach compartment.  Not, however, Clorox 2® or any other color safe bleaches! Since your HE washing machine has a detergent dispenser, you can add your color-safe bleach along with the detergent in that compartment. Just be sure that since you prefer liquid Clorox 2® that you are also using a liquid laundry detergent. That way you won’t be mixing forms — powdered color-safe bleach should be used with powdered detergent, and liquid color-safe bleach should be used with a liquid detergent. If you ever decide to try our Clorox 2® pack formulation, you can just toss the pack in the tub/basket along with the clothes before you start the washer.
